Michelle Levenstein, also known as the Junkin Skier, is a vendor at the Vintage Warehouse. She loves to repurpose/upcycle furniture.
To her there is nothing better than to give new life to an old piece of furniture and to see it at its new home in all its splendor. Like the time she found an antique, ornate, decorative headboard with wooden flowers in a large trash bin underneath bags and bags of trash. She salvaged the headboard and later was shown a picture of it in the customer’s bedroom with beautiful quilts on its new mattress. It literally brought tears to her eyes and if a piece of furniture could smile, this piece certainly was smiling big.
The Junkin Skier loves to water ski so when she is not working with furniture she is out on the lake. Most of her furniture has hues of soft coastal tones such as blues creams, pinks and greens. So if you’re looking for cozy comfortable coastal decor she’s your girl, but don’t be surprised if you come looking for her at the Vintage Warehouse and you see in her booth lots of other beautiful colors such as reds, black and violet.
The Junkin Skier prides herself in making beautiful furniture for your comfort and enjoyment.
Welcome to See You on The Flip Side!
A small family owned, and operated business located in Florida. My husband Michael and I have been married for nearly two decades and over the years have accumulated many furniture pieces pasted down through the generations. Some of these really needed some love; so together, we gave life back to these pieces so that we could use them for years to come. After we finished our own pieces, we found that we really enjoyed the work; and have been in the refurbishing business for quite a few years now.
That is just a slice of the pie though. Once our garage started looking like a furniture shop, friends and family started coming out of the woodwork “ha-ha, see what I did there” with all their talents. Turns out, we have an entire network of some very talented people; everything from custom woodworking, metal works, resin designs, glass art, apparel, and more. Their designs are now part of the Sea You on The Flip Side Family.
Just like that with a love for antiques and a passion for Creativity Sea You on the Flip Side started to take shape.
So take a dive in and see what you can find and thank you for visiting our site,
Tracy Fears and Jenn Livingston are just two best friends (very similar to Thelma and Louise) who were floating around in the pool , sipping on some whiskey and bouncing around some not so good ideas to try...when all of a sudden, it hit them out of nowhere! No, not the whiskey, the idea to venture into business together and start a booth a Vintage Warehouse. We love bringing life into lifeless, beautiful pieces so that you can enjoy them in your homes.
Brittany Zealley is the owner of Twisted Sisters & has been a part of the Vintage Warehouse for about two years. She began her love for flipping furniture after her mother in law, Tracy Fears with iCandy Home Goods, provided her with her first flipped piece one Christmas. Brittany has a passion for flipping old table sets, but her booth also consists of different furniture from kids furniture, wall decor, entry tables & so much more. She is a full time working mother to 3 beautiful children. When she isn’t working, at the football field or running her daughter to gymnastics you can find her covered in paint, flipping furniture out of her garage to bring old vintage pieces back to life!
Karen has been a vendor with the Vintage Warehouse for over 10 years. She started out selling home decor and painted furniture as a hobby. For the last 2 years, since retiring, she and her husband work together to find, repair and paint furniture. Karen also enjoys searching for great, unique home decor pieces.
Nancy has been collecting antiques and furniture for almost 40 years, and considers it a "labor of love." Reformations, her space in the Vintage Warehouse, is a combination of antiques, vintage and repurposed/upcycled furniture. With a workshop at home, she is able to use an old door and create a hall tree, or turn an outdated TV armoire into a unique bar, using pieces and parts on hand. Having an outlet to display and sell her "reformations" is truly her dream job!
A little bit about Mimi’s Recreations…
Michelle and her husband, Vinny decided to work together full-time during the Covid lockdown to keep busy refurnishing furniture. With the joy, passion and excitement of working together they decided to give up their full-time corporate jobs and go into business for themselves. They say the hunt of finding the treasures to repurpose and bring back to life is what Mimi’s Re-Creations is all about. They work hard to bring pre-loved furniture and home décor to Loved Again! The praise they receive from customers is what keeps them going today. Vinny likes to say “The time we spend in this business has been priceless and therefore we are able to sell quality pieces at great prices! We are driven by the passion of the project.”
Thank you Mendy!!
